Trinity Dove
March 22, 2006
One of three windows on one side of the Salvation Army Chapel of Paducah KY - outdoor picture - original pattern created by Mike Driver - The Dove has long represented the Holy Spirit as described when God's Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus Christ after He was baptized by John the Baptist.
Four windows for this chapel all used the royal blue, yellow gold and ruby red glass to match the National Salvation Army's colors. Gray and gray/white streaked glass matches the gray walls inside the Chapel. Chaplains use the three themes of the side windows which represent the Holy Trinity to emphasize sermons, as well as the Holy Cross behind the pulpit.
