"Amber-Light
Stained Glass Art Guild
of Western Kentucky"
Amber-Light Art Guild is established as a non-profit
organization for the purpose of increasing purchasing power,
sharing art techniques, knowledge and patterns, and promoting
fellowship between stained glass enthusiasts, both hobbyists and
professional artists. Members of Amber-Light Art Guild recognize
that it is the love of the art that binds us together.
Members may refer projects to
other members as appropriate and may invite other skilled
members to be temporarily contract-employed from time to time as
the need may be. Contracts and/or referral fees and/or wages are
to be negotiated between individuals. The Guild will not be
involved, nor responsible in any way.
Amber-Light Stained Glass Art Guild meets every month at Aire Castle Inn, unless the Guild chooses another location.
Meetings are relaxed and
allow ample time for refreshments, fellowship and
‘show-and-tell’ about completed projects.
As organizer of the
Guild, Aire Castle Inn Stained Glass Art contacts all members of
the Guild monthly to inquire if each member would like to order
any glass, or supplies through Aire Castle’s wholesale
accounts. Members receive a substantial discount off normal
retail.
Members are free to buy glass
and supplies from any source and not bound by any agreement to
purchase supplies solely from Aire Castle. It is Aire Castle’s
privilege to be of service to Guild members.
Aire Castle Inn Stained Glass
Art seeks no profit from Amber-Light
Stained Glass Art Guild, but to only insure that our common
wholesale buying power is insured by our cooperation with each
other. Aire Castle envisions that the fellowship created by
formation of the Guild has the ability to equal the fellowship
we see between quilting artists, wood-workers and other
craftsmen. Stained Glass Art guilds already exist in other areas
of the nation and around the world.
Amber-Light Guild will research and communicate with
other guilds, seek to share information and engage in fellowship
with them.
